How to Integrate Campaign Monitor

Campaign Monitor is another popular online email marketing application that enables designers to create, send, manage and track branded emails for themselves and their clients with ease.


Integrating Campaign Monitor with your ecomnation account will enable you to synchronize your registered customers’ data in your store to your Campaign Monitor portal.


In this article, we'll show you how to start using Campaign Monitor. You will need to take action inside your Campaign Monitor account and within your ecomnation account to fully enable the integration.


Campaign Monitor API key and List ID


  1. To get your API key, log in to your Campaign Monitor Account and,
  2. Click the Manage Account button.
  3. Click the API Keys tab and,
  4. Click the Show API key link on the API key box and copy it in your clipboard.
  5. To get your List ID, go to the Lists and Subscribers menu.
  6. Select a name in your List and,
  7. Click the Change Name/Type.
  8. Copy the API subscriber List ID in your clipboard.


Note: Save the API key and the List ID as you will need them in the next steps.


Campaign Monitor ecomnation Integration Activation


  1. Log in to your ecomnation admin portal. Hover over the gear icon [1] and,
  2. Choose Apps & Integrations on the drop-down list [2].
  3. Click the Marketing label [3].
  4. Navigate to the Campaign Monitor box and click on the blue Configure link [4]:

Clicking the configure blue link will open a sub-menu:

  1. Paste the API key [1] and,
  2. The List ID, into the configuration empty fields [2].
  3. Make sure to hit the blue Save Changes button [3] after you're all done making modifications:

The Campaign Monitor integration will automatically be turned ON after saving all of the changes described above.


All ecomnation templates come with the Campaign Monitor integration. Upon completing the steps above, data synchronization into Campaign Monitor should be working. Be sure to double check the integration by simulating a customer signup process.
